We
specialise in book and catalogue setting from data supplied on disk
or tape. Documents can be supplied as Quark, Post Script, PDF files,
bromide or camera ready artwork on paper at 600dpi.
Together
with the data conversion service Quark Tagged files can be supplied
to printers and typesetter for further processing.
Examples
of the service:
- Information
from a publishers stock-list data base was converted into Quark
format and data was extracted to form an authors and publication
data base.
-
Data from a membership data base was sorted into classification
order and a Quark input file created. A classification index and
a alphabetical member index was also created and exported into
Quark.
- Text
for a book, created originally on a Linotype system, was extracted
and output into a Word document.
- Data
from a customers data base extracted and sorted into post code
order for a mailing house print run.
